Trash Multiplies

More dumping at Rd 500/Rd 530. After the truck was dumped here last month some cable and other trash was left. Now another vehicle has been dumped. It seems unless the dumpers are caught and prosecuted we will be looking at increasing garbage dumped on the State Forest.

Hey, just want to say hi.

And I thought I was saying goodbye to slobs when I moved from Oregon. Nope. A couple of twelve packs and a big pile of takeout garbage dumped at the bridge going over to Big Tree trail. I stood there and cursed for a few minutes before getting back into the groove of a great ride. It's indicative of who we are as a society. But I'll leave that for the sociologists. Sheesh.

I saw the trail work on High Chute. I do my best to jump over the waterbars. And I think most of us out there are pretty conscious.

By the way, I'm not sure I'll make it to the 25th. I've met a group who ride Sundays, and it's too much fun to ride with people again. However, I did say I'd make it. Bla bla bla. I should just PM you over at the forum.

Nice to heare from you! I also came across the trash on Rd 720 at Rd 700.
I think it is a few that have a "screw everybody" attitude that trash and thash. I am glad you had good ride regardless of the mess. I have not checked out High Chute since MLT did the work there. Most trail users are conscious but a few "screw everbody" types can go a long way to keeping others from enjoying the beautiful outdoors!

April second- More trash at the Big Tree entrance area bridge.

I'm not sure there's much that can be done, short of camping out with a camera, and catching the bums.

It's a dodgy way to end a beautiful trail ride, to have to climb over someone's discarded trash. Harumph!
